Purchasing Coordinator Role at TVS-SCS

This is a key position within our team, focusing on commercial purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients and suppliers to manage various purchasing tasks, ensuring high availability and profitability for both parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing Supplier Relationships: Utilize the TVS SRM process to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  2. Product Sourcing: Identify and source new or alternative products/suppliers for our clients.
  3. Commercial Information Management: Manage and maintain commercial information, including product pricing, lead times, and relevant data in the ERP system.
  4. Supplier Performance Enhancement: Collaborate with suppliers and the supply chain team to enhance supplier performance, negotiate cost savings, and mitigate increases.
  5. Client Meetings: Host meetings with clients to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and deliver benefits.
  6. Purchasing Activity Review: Present purchasing activity periodically in review meetings with clients.
  7. Supplier Performance Review: Conduct review meetings with key suppliers to discuss and enhance performance.
  8. Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, agreeing on terms and enrolling them in the TVS supply agreement.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve services, add value, and contribute to TVS's sustainability.
  10. Invoice Queries: Resolve invoice queries with suppliers.
