Credit Controller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our Accountancy team in Chertsey. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for collecting debt within assigned credit terms and achieving individual and department targets. You will also maintain meticulous records and review dates via a customer diary system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect debt within assigned credit terms and achievement of individual and department targets
  • Maintain all customer credit limits in line with Company policy
  • Listen to the financial issues of customers and make sound commercial arrangements for payment plans
  • Visit customers and branches where necessary to ensure smooth running of the account/build relationships and to aid credit assessment
  • Assess all new account applications and accept or reject

Requirements:
  • Recent relevant experience in Credit control or someone wanting a career in Credit Control
  • Salary of up to £33,000 plus annual bonus based on company/individual performance
  • Free parking
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
