Industrial Design Engineer

At Triumph Motorcycles, we're driven to create exceptional motorcycles that celebrate our heritage while embracing innovation. As a Design Engineer in our Industrial Placement program, you'll play a key role in developing and testing a range of skills, from 3D CAD design to technical drawings.
Our design department is comprised of small, focused teams that offer opportunities for high responsibility and collaboration with experienced engineers. You'll work hands-on within the business, contributing to future and existing projects, and have the chance to develop your skills in parallel with our teams.
As a Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing and developing motorcycle components using 3D CAD software
- Conducting calculations and simulations to ensure design integrity
- Liaising with external suppliers and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution
Triumph Motorcycles offers a unique 12-month Industrial Placement program that provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop their skills in a real-world setting. Upon completion of the program, students may be eligible for graduate employment opportunities or sponsorship deals.
Our placement program is ideally suited for students pursuing Automotive and Mechanical Engineering degrees. We're committed to providing a supportive and challenging environment that allows you to grow and develop as a professional.
