Design Engineer - Motorcycle Design and Development

At Triumph Motorcycles, we are driven to create exceptional motorcycles that celebrate our heritage while embracing innovation. As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our iconic motorcycles.

The placement will be based within the Design Department, where you will work closely with our experienced teams to develop and test a range of skills. Your role will include:

  1. 3D CAD design and modeling
  2. Calculations and simulations
  3. Technical drawing and documentation
  4. Liaising with external suppliers and internal departments

You will have the opportunity to work on real projects, contributing to the design and development of production motorcycles. Our design department is made up of small, focused teams, which will give you the chance to take on a position of high responsibility.

This 12-month Industrial Placement position at Triumph Motorcycles is unique, offering hands-on experience within the business. You will play a key role in our future and existing projects, working in parallel and collaboratively with our experienced teams.

Triumph Motorcycles offers graduate employment opportunities for Industrial Placement students who perform strongly during their placement year. We also offer final year sponsorship deals to students whom we aim to bring back into full-time employment after graduation.

This role is ideally suited to Automotive and Mechanical Engineering degrees. Please note that this role is only open to university students who need to undertake a year out in industry as part of their degree course.
