About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Python Engineer to join our team at Dabster Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions using Python and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based applications using Python and AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Git and Jenkins.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based applications and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS and Python technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Python.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.
  • Knowledge of distributed storage systems like DB2, Sybase / Sybase IQ, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Good working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Natural self-motivation with a passion for delivering excellence.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Curiosity with an ongoing desire to develop and learn.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial Services and/or Software Consulting experience.
