About the Role:

Gemini Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Immigration Paralegal to join our client\u2019s established law firm. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting with casework, including dealing with a range of Immigration matters, and undertaking your own advocacy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with casework, including dealing with Immigration matters and undertaking advocacy
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Deal with correspondence, prepare funding applications, and draft documents
  • Prepare applications to meet Home Office requirements and attend conferences and court
  • Maintain accurate time costing procedures and ensure compliance with file management

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background with a Law degree
  • Legal experience as an Immigration Paralegal/Advisor
  • Clear understanding and application of Immigration Laws
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively with all types of people
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
  • Committed team player, self-motivated, and professional
  • Excellent IT Skills and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
