About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Influence Expert to join our team at Wellcome Trust. As a key member of our Global Government Relations team, you will play a vital role in shaping our policy influence strategy and building lasting partnerships with governments to deliver impact on Wellcome's priorities.

Your primary responsibility will be to navigate complex policy environments and geographies, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders in global health, and contributing to meaningful work that advocates for greater equity, inclusion, and access in health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Navigate complex policy environments and geographies to identify opportunities for policy influence.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders in global health, including governments, civil society, academia, and research institutions.
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based policy recommendations and strategies to influence key political decision-makers.

What You'll Need

  • Experience of policy influence work in international contexts, particularly in relation to global health, mental health, infectious disease, climate, and/or development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners to achieve common goals.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated £61,400 per annum, and a hybrid working model with 3 days in our Euston Road offices (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days working remotely or in the office.
