**Job Title:** Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

**Location:** Barnet, London

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Salary:** £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism and significant behavioral needs in a diverse primary school in North London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with children with special educational needs and be committed to providing individualized support.

The role involves providing 1-to-1 support for the child, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their social and emotional skills. You will work closely with the classroom teacher and other support staff to ensure the child's needs are met and that they make progress academically and personally.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience working with children with autism and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patient and understanding approach
