About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join our team in Luton and Brussels. As a Technical Services Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support for complex base maintenance tasks, develop and implement engineered solutions for intricate airframe, avionics, systems, and engine defects, and evaluate airworthiness directives and service bulletins to address system and engine issues.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support for complex base maintenance tasks, including avionics-focused solutions.
  2. Develop and implement engineered solutions for airframe, avionics, systems, and engine defects.
  3. Evaluate airworthiness directives and service bulletins to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  4. Support fleet maintenance activities, including man-hour compilation, data package creation, and modification engineering releases.
  5. Represent TUI Airways in meetings with manufacturers, airlines, and other stakeholders to enhance departmental procedures and technical processes.
  6. Manage work orders and repair schemes for additional maintenance requirements.

About You

  • You hold or are working towards a CAA/EASA A or B License, with a recognized Aircraft Engineering apprenticeship.
  • You have 5+ years of airline maintenance experience, with a deep understanding of aircraft systems relevant to TUI Group Airlines.
  • You are proficient in OEM maintenance manuals and engineering tools like AMM, CMM, IPC, WDM, and SWPM.
  • You have strong knowledge of aviation regulations, including NAA, Part M, CAMO, and Part 145.
  • You possess excellent communication and IT skills, including experience with engineering systems, Adobe, and drawing software.
