Job Summary:

Harpenden Building Society is seeking a part-time Cashier to join our team at our local branch in Radlett. As a key member of our small team, you will be responsible for managing our customers' savings needs, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with their everyday savings needs, including opening accounts, paying in, and making withdrawals

Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Work closely with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, including meeting sales targets and improving customer satisfaction

Utilize computer systems to manage customer accounts and process transactions

Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs

Requirements:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

A good telephone manner and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

GCSE in maths and English, with a strong understanding of numeracy and literacy skills

Expected hours: 25 hours per week, plus 2 alternate Saturdays
