Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing and Procurement Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Sourcing, IT Strategy & Corporate Services capability, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most significant and complex sourcing challenges facing public and private sector organisations in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice on transforming organisations' sourcing teams, delivering complex multi-billion-pound procurements, and advising clients on how to embrace technology to accelerate sourcing processes and harness data.
- Support clients to achieve their desired business outcomes by harnessing deep technical knowledge and applying innovative approaches to sourcing and procurement.
- Work with clients to navigate complex procurement processes within the Defence sector to deliver successful value for money outcomes.
- Lead and support change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments.
- Manage supplier service delivery arrangements or improve supplier and sourcing relationships.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and/or procurement.
- Strong delivery experience from working on procurement/commercial and strategic sourcing projects from buyer and/or supplier perspectives.
- Expertise in navigating complex procurement processes within the Defence sector to deliver successful value for money outcomes.
- Evidence of leading and supporting change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments.
- CIPS, MCIPS, IACCM or equivalent sourcing qualifications are preferable.
