Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of EYITT Personal Tutors to achieve program targets and maintain high-quality practice.
  • Support the recruitment, development, and training of EYITT Tutors, working closely with the Head of EYITT.
  • Conduct regular 'Keeping in Touch' meetings with Personal Tutors and share information with the Quality and Assurance Team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Approve placement requests and queries in line with EYITT criteria.
  • Complete shadow visits for tutors, conducting teaching observations and providing high-quality feedback.
  • Support the completion of CFC meetings and ensure excellent progress for student teachers.
  • Assist with recommendations for EYTS and final interviews.
  • Support preparation for Ofsted, external moderation, and exam board as required.
  • Lead and manage a team with high levels of motivation and drive improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with Early Years industry knowledge and be passionate about Continuing Professional Development.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with colleagues, employers, mentors, and student teachers.
  • Motivate the team to meet deadlines and maintain high quality throughout the program.
  • Utilize strong IT skills and work with online systems.
  • Hold a full driving license, have a vehicle, and be willing to travel to different settings.
