Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at KION Group.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a company van, laptop, and printer.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

You will work closely with our sales and service teams to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and that customers receive excellent service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To diagnose and rectify faults on customer equipment, maintaining accurate records of all works carried out.
  • To provide reliable information to customers regarding maintenance and repairs, as well as offering advice on the use of equipment.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety procedures and policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • To liaise with our service controller and customers to ensure that information regarding individual equipment is shared, including damage or requests for replacement trucks.
  • To make proposals for improving the implementation of work activities and work conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving license and ability to operate a company van.

You will also have a background in the forklift industry, with experience in maintenance and repair.
