Job Title: Infrastructure Project Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Supervisor to join our team at Arcadis Human Resources Limited. As an NEC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of primary infrastructure on various schemes from our Cambridge office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake the duties of Supervisor as stated in the Contract (NEC 3 ECC Option C).
  • Acquaint yourself with the Supplier's design and raise queries regarding constructability in terms of safety and quality.
  • Review the Supplier's Inspection and Test Plans to agree witnessing requirements.
  • Witness on-site testing and commissioning, keeping appropriate records of results.
  • Identify and notify any Defects in accordance with the Contract.
  • Verify the standards of work and materials supplied by the contractor are as specified in accordance with the Contract.
  • Monitor the progress of the works, providing advice to the Client Project Manager on any risks and issues.
  • Submit reports on a weekly basis to the Client Project Manager to advise on progress and the status of construction-related safety, quality, and completion issues.
  • Maintain appropriate records of site inspections, tests, and audits.
  • Attend meetings and inspections, both on and off site as required.

Requirements:

  • NEC Accredited, with experience in carrying out duties of an NEC Supervisor, and up to date working knowledge of the contracts.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Experience of the design and construction of highway infrastructure projects.
  • Good writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
  • Diligent, proactive, and thorough approach to detail.
  • Collaborative and practical approach to problem-solving.
