About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and caring Community Care Worker to join our team. As a Compassionate Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional home support to our clients, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
Job Description:
Your primary duties will include assisting clients with personal care, meal preparation, attending appointments, pet care, medication awareness, gardening, and other household tasks. You will also engage in activities that promote social interaction, such as conversation, hobbies, or outings.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as set shift patterns, guaranteed hour or salaried contracts, automatic enrolment in Blue Light Discount and Training Academy discount schemes, yearly tax rebate scheme support, and in-house mental health and well-being support.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine desire to help people, a good level of spoken English, access to a vehicle, and motivation to enrich clients' lives. You should also be able to commit to some weekend working (usually one in two) and have a positive team ethic.
A Typical Day with Belvoir Home Care:
As a Compassionate Caregiver, you can expect a fulfilling day filled with meaningful interactions and activities. You will work on a set pattern, with access to your client's information a week prior, allowing you to prepare and build strong relationships. You will drive to calls within a standard 15-minute travel time, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Our minimum call time is 1 hour, allowing for quality engagement with clients and completion of tasks.
