Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Infection Prevention Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead our infection prevention and control efforts in a dynamic and respected independent hospital. As an Infection Prevention Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective IPC policies and procedures, providing expert guidance to staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement IPC Policies: Create and implement comprehensive infection prevention and control policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expert advice and guidance to healthcare professionals on infection control issues, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent and manage infections.
- Conduct Regular Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with healthcare teams to promote best practices in infection prevention and control.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: Must be a registered nurse with experience in infection prevention and control.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills to lead and manage IPC efforts.
- Knowledge of IPC Legislation: Knowledge of current IPC legislation and guidelines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals.
