About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Love2shop. As a key member of our travel department, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day supervision of our travel team, ensuring seamless delivery of our travel services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the travel team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Perform regular one-to-one meetings with team members, including quarterly and year-end appraisals, to discuss performance and development.
  • Authorise and manage staff, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist senior management in reporting on trends and patterns to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, senior management, and suppliers.
  • Sell travel products in a professional manner, building strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring excellent service delivery and adherence to company procedures.
  • Action complaints in accordance with company procedure, minimising potential loss and escalation.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of company and supplier policies, reducing the risk of colleague errors and omissions.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable recent work experience within the travel industry.
  • Knowledge of bookings, packages, DP holidays, flights, and UK breaks.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • People-oriented, with a drive for engagement and teamwork.
  • Proven working knowledge of travel booking and administration systems.
