Travel Team Leader Opportunity at Love2shop

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Love2shop. As a key member of our travel department, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day supervision of our travel team, ensuring seamless customer experiences and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Assume day-to-day supervision of the Travel Team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and team performance.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular one-to-ones with team members, including quarterly and year-end appraisals, and report back to senior management as required.
  • Staff Management: Authorize and manage staff, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist senior management in analyzing trends and patterns to inform business decisions and drive growth in the travel division.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, senior management, and external suppliers to drive business success.
  • Sales and Service: Sell travel products in a professional manner, building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and drive revenue growth.
  • Administration: Complete relevant administration tasks efficiently, ensuring excellent service and minimizing errors.
  • Complaint Resolution: Action complaints in accordance with company procedure, minimizing potential loss and escalation while upholding professional service standards.
Essential Skills:
  • Travel Industry Experience: Demonstrable recent work experience within the travel industry, with a strong understanding of bookings, packages, and UK breaks.
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer Focus: Experience of working in a customer-facing role, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Teamwork: People-oriented with a drive for engagement and teamwork, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proven working knowledge of travel booking and administration systems.
