We're seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Hospitality Expert at Corinthia London. As an Apprentice Bar Staff member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner. You will also maintain the bar area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.

As a key member of our bar team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of drinks and develop your skills in mixology. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and responding to their needs in a friendly and efficient manner.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be familiar with a wide range of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink recipes.

About You
  • Prior experience as a bartender in a 5-star hotel environment is highly desirable.
  • You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and provide excellent service.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink recipes is essential.
  • You should be able to handle multiple tasks at once, including preparing drinks, taking orders, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • You will need to be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy bottles or kegs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash, making change, and measuring drink ingredients are required.
  • You should be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, often during evenings and weekends.
  • A good command of spoken and written English is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Micros system and Open Table is advantageous.
