Job Overview

The Royal Marsden is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Officer to join their team. As a key member of the Space and Accommodation team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting space and accommodation projects, as well as providing administrative support to the team.

Main Duties

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day project delivery of business as usual (BAU) space and accommodation across the Trust.
  • Provide a dedicated, professional, and efficient project management support and delivery.
  • Ensure a timely, good quality, consistent, and accurate service with a strong focus on confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Promote a culture focused on education and change across the organization to help develop and change the way space is used and managed throughout the Trust.

Person Specification

  • Essential criteria:
    • Education to A level standard or equivalent.
    • Excellent IT/Word/Excel processing skills, proven level of computer literacy.
    • Comprehensive knowledge and capabilities using Microsoft office software, proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
    • Significant experience of Project Officer Role at a senior level.
  • Desirable criteria:
    • Project Management Qualification or studying towards, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Essential criteria:
    • Demonstrable evidence of managing and delivering projects to time and high quality.
    • Experience of managing a wide range of project queries, activities, deliverables, and systems.
    • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders at various levels and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
    • Experience of producing briefing packs for senior management meetings.
  • Desirable criteria:
    • Experience of dealing with sensitive work/environment issues.
