Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Equipment Technician to join our team at GTS International Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our transportation equipment assets.

This will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving issues, and collaborating with the maintenance team to deliver high-quality results. You will also participate actively in safety briefings and workshops, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of asset management. To succeed in this position, you will need to possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A proven track record in a maintenance role, combined with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, is essential. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office suite, and have experience working in a large, multi-disciplinary team environment. Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline, Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience;
  • Familiarity with maintenance activities in a large, multi-disciplinary team environment;
  • Proven track record in a maintenance role with a focus on safety and adherence to maintenance schedules;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately;
  • Team player with the ability to deliver maintenance requirements efficiently;
  • Competency in IT, including Microsoft Office suite.
