About the Role

We're seeking a creative and multi-talented Director of Brand & Storytelling to lead our global content, thought leadership, PR, and social media efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in content creation and management, social media strategy, and media relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a content strategy to support brand awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation efforts.
  • Produce compelling thought leadership content rooted in data and insights for use in demand generation campaigns, PR campaigns, and speaker engagements.
  • Implement messaging across multiple platforms, including websites, social media, email, video, podcasts, webinars, and publications.
  • Manage PR, content, and communications calendars, ensuring adherence to brand standards and high-quality execution in partnership with agencies.
  • Enhance content capabilities by working with agency and freelance partners, establishing processes for briefing external contributors and maintaining quality control.
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to generate joint content campaigns, positioning Thunes as a thought leader and driving demand generation.
  • Proactively identify and support opportunities for storytelling through speaking engagements, podcast participation, and nominations for industry awards.
  • Develop and maintain content and social media calendars, ensuring alignment with company ICPs and regional requirements.
  • Establish clear goals and KPIs for content and communications, regularly reporting on progress and insights to the business.
  • Oversee social media strategy, content, and align activities with key global initiatives, such as product launches, company announcements, and other significant events.
  • Conduct media training sessions and coach executives on public speaking, storytelling, and effective communication on social media.
  • Ensure quality execution on content plans through effective collaboration with vendors.
Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of diverse experience in Content and Communications, including copywriting, graphic design, and social media, specifically in a B2B environment or serving B2B customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop compelling content strategies across multiple regions, effectively delivering them through various channels.
  • Exceptional ability to merge visual and graphic elements with written content to craft compelling narratives.
  • Impeccable skills in copywriting and copy-editing, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems and digital graphics production tools.
  • A robust passion for continuous improvement, problem-solving, and a proactive drive to execute projects.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, able to interpret data and derive insights to refine and enhance content strategies.
