About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution Limited. As an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the whole dispensing process, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Establish and develop long-term relationships with customers and healthcare professionals, providing courteous and effective customer service.
- Assist in the delivery of commercial pharmacy services, including blood pressure measuring and weight management.
- Complete administrative records and ensure their adequate maintenance.
- Manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment, including receiving, storing, maintaining, and issuing.
- Deliver healthcare advice and signpost where necessary.
- Assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise when required.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and provide a membership number upon request. You must also have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent qualification and experience working in a customer-focused environment.
