Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our patient safety culture and reducing restrictive practices.
Main DutiesAs a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for leading and managing resources to develop and implement strategies to reduce restrictive practices. You will work closely with the Clinical Director to promote restorative supervision and embed systems thinking and human factors understanding in all processes. You will also support the development of education and training aligned to the reducing restrictive practice agenda.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree or equivalent level of experience, clinical qualification, and teaching qualification or demonstrable formal study of educational principles and practice. You will also need to have experience of working within a range of services, clinical and supervisory experience, and experience in a senior organisational leadership post in inpatients. You will need to be able to communicate effectively, lead and manage resources, and develop and use Forum Theatre approaches and complex multi-media materials for presentations.
