Biomedical Scientist - Histology

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join our Histology team at HCA Laboratories. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing a high-quality and effective Histopathology laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Biomedical Scientist in the day-to-day and strategic management of the Histopathology Department.
  • Carry out unsupervised routine and complex investigations and analysis of tissue using specialized laboratory equipment.
  • Be responsible for delegated tasks involved in the day-to-day organization and delivery of a clinical pathology service with high standards of patient care.
  • Participate in rotation through all areas of the department.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or similar.
  • HCPC Registered.
  • Experience in a Histology lab.
  • Member of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences.
  • Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences is desirable.
