Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Pre-Sourcing, Sourcing, and Contract Management activity to enable innovation and support to the Army Commercial Team.
  • Provide early and ongoing commercial advice and commercial technical leadership to stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships within the Army and with external stakeholders.
  • Define, procure, and contract manage contracts in support of innovation and wider Army Commercial activities.
  • Support early market engagement to understand the supplier market, procurement options, and supplier relationship management.

Requirements

  • Awareness of the procurement process and contract management.
  • Ability to produce and analyse data to inform decisions.
  • Effective and high standards of written and verbal communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively inside and outside of an organisation and positively influence stakeholders, peers, and colleagues.
  • Desirable criteria include experience of working in the public sector or in industry dealing with the public sector and a practitioner of MoDs CP&F Enterprise System.
