About the Role
The Pump Shop Mechanic plays a crucial role in maintaining and restoring hydraulic systems to guarantee optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Component Inspection and Repair: Diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and identify faulty components in hydraulic equipment.
- Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired components to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other team members and supervisors to achieve repair goals and maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience and Skills: Proven experience in hydraulic component repair or a related mechanical field, strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, and proficient in component repair and assembly.
- Industry Familiarity and Safety Protocols: Familiarity with hydraulic seals, materials, and industry best practices, as well as adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision in repairs, and ability to accurately diagnose issues.
What You Can Expect
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
