We are seeking a passionate Humanities Educator to work at a welcoming Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Cambridge.
About the SchoolThis school is dedicated to providing high-quality education for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). They support children with a wide range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges.
The school's mission is to empower each student to achieve their full potential.
Job Description- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Humanities lessons to small groups or one-to-one, ensuring lessons meet the individual needs of students.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the overall development of each student.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and strategies that promote inclusion and well-being for all students.
A qualified teacher with a degree in Humanities or a related field, and a passion for teaching is required.
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, especially in a SEN or inclusive setting, is essential.
A deep understanding of SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges, is also necessary.
A DBS (or the willingness to apply) is required.
