Join our community of volunteers who are dedicated to making a positive impact on children's lives. As a shop volunteer, you will be an ambassador for Save the Children, spreading awareness about our mission and values.
Our shop teams are comprised of diverse individuals who share a common goal: to support children in need. We believe that everyone can make a real difference, regardless of their background or experience.
The estimated salary for this role is £11-14 per hour, considering the job requirements and location. However, please note that this is a voluntary, unpaid position based in the UK.
RequirementsWe are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can commit to a flexible schedule. As a shop volunteer, you will be responsible for various tasks, including customer engagement, stock management, and shop maintenance.
You will have the opportunity to develop new skills, learn about our organization, and contribute to a dynamic team environment. We encourage applications from individuals who can bring a positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and a willingness to learn.
Next StepsAfter submitting your application, we will invite you for an informal trial shift. This is an excellent opportunity to visit the shop, meet existing volunteers, and try out some of the tasks involved in the role. We also ask for two references, which don't need to be formal workplace ones.
