**Qualifications**

  • **Experience**: High-level technical competency and significant experience in a related field, preferably in the nuclear industry.
  • **Education**: HNC (minimum) in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • **Innovation**: Ability to create and develop new ideas, promoting innovation and creativity in the team.
  • **Project Documentation**: Experience in preparing project documentation, processes, and reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • **Stakeholder Management**: Demonstrable success in managing stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • **Drawing Standards**: Strong understanding of BS8888 and ISO-GPS (ISO 8015), ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • **Technical Drawings**: Ability to check technical drawings per BS8888 and ISO 8015, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • **Engineering Background**: Deep experience in design, manufacture, material selection, welding, fabrication, and machining techniques, preferably in the nuclear industry.
  • **FMEA Knowledge**: Familiarity with DFMEA and PFMEA, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.
  • **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder management.

**Additional Information**

  • **Regulated Industries**: Experienced in delivering work for highly regulated industries, such as the nuclear sector.
  • **Nuclear Sector**: Experience in the nuclear sector, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • **Nuclear Design**: Familiarity or previous design experience with nuclear, including mechanical handling.
  • **CAD Experience**: Experience with CAD (Inventor), ensuring proficiency in design and drafting.
  • **Security Clearance**: SC Clearance preferred or ability to obtain SC Clearance, ensuring access to sensitive information.
