Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced PHP developer to join our team at IES Ltd.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Symfony and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop multiple web applications, including our company website and software licensing systems.
  • Liaise with our IT, QA & DevOps teams to ensure the health and availability of these systems.
  • Monitor, pen-test, and fix any issues found.
  • Update legacy web applications to current PHP standards.
Requirements
  • Several years' experience in a responsible development role with Symfony.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and modern PHP development practices.
  • Experience with Doctrine ORM and SQL (MySQL, MariaDB, or Postgres).
  • Proficiency in VCS (e.g. Git or Perforce).
Desirable Skills
  • Creation and use of REST APIs.
  • Linux (Debian/Ubuntu based systems preferred).
  • Apache web server (or NGINX).
  • React JS.
  • Pimcore CMS (Symfony-based).
  • Microsoft Azure.
