About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at ABC Teachers. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students as needed.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, activities, and materials to support student learning.
  • Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement instructional strategies.
  • Provide support for students with special needs, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting, preferably in a teaching assistant role.
  • Qualifications in childcare or supporting teaching, although not mandatory if you have relevant experience.
  • Ability to form strong working relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • DBS clearance, registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
