About the Role


We are seeking a Spiritual Care Professional to join our team at Westbury Grange care home in Newport Pagnell.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the spiritual well-being of older people.


As a Spiritual Care Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring that the spiritual needs of residents, staff and families are addressed.


You will lead Christian worship and develop good working relationships with local faith communities.


Your role will involve providing pastoral care and supporting individuals to live their lives with purpose and meaning.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference in the lives of others.


About You


We are looking for someone who is passionate about spirituality and has experience of providing pastoral care.


A significant proportion of our residents participate in regular Christian worship, so we need a Chaplain who can lead these services and build good working relationships with local churches and other faith communities.


An empathetic understanding of spiritual aspects of ageing and dementia is essential for this role.
