As a PMO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our organization to success by establishing and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) using standardized project tools and a tailored governance process.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance working from our modern office space three days a week with two days of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a PMO structure tailored to PPL PRS\' infrastructure and manage it using a suite of standard tools.
  • Support project selection and ensure business cases are well-defined.
  • Project manage projects, including Mandatory, Strategic, and Business Improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the finance team to document achievable business benefits for all projects.
  • Define project scope, establish baselines, and goals, completing project definition documents for sponsor sign-off.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, sharing them with project teams.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, even when not direct reports.
  • Track project performance, identifying project creep and slippage, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
  • Establish suitable reporting mechanisms and frequencies.
  • Support project implementation, including change management activities to ensure projects are embedded.
  • Collaborate with the Technology & Operational Excellence team to understand the impact, document requirements, and plan the delivery of enhancement/minor technology changes.
  • Display excellent leadership skills and build relationships to manage executive-level and shareholder stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing a Project Management Office, overseeing multiple cross-discipline projects.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a project management role, with a proven track record of delivering successful multidisciplinary large-scale projects.
  • Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or similar).
  • Experience in Agile Project Management.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools or software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing project budgets, forecasting costs, tracking actuals, and forecasting product revenue and tangible or intangible benefits.
  • Able to construct and deliver presentations, presenting options and clear recommendations to a professional standard.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
  • Must be organized and able to manage own priorities and workload.
  • Experience in collating and distributing progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
