Data Center Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team at Amazon Data Services UK Limited. As a Data Center Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and operation of our data centers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Work with vendors to review and design new data centers, ensuring they meet AWS expectations.
- Act as a resident engineer during construction projects, supporting commissioning and handover.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site and equipment failures, creating corrective action documentation.
- Provide technical support for data center upgrades and design solutions, improving availability and efficiency.
- Interface with operating partners and design engineering teams to promote consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
- Initiate and lead engineering site audits, producing reports outlining risks and recommended mitigations.
