About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Statistical Programmer II to join our team at ICON plc in Reading, UK.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality statistical programming services to support clinical and preclinical research projects. This includes designing and developing SAS programs, supporting statisticians in the development of statistical analysis plans, and assisting with data management tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, validate, and document SAS programs to generate analysis datasets, summary tables, figures, and listings.
  • Support statisticians in the development and review of Statistical Analysis Plans and Programming Specifications.
  • Assist data management with implementing protocols and Case Report Forms (CRFs).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
  2. Significant experience in SAS programming - ideally 3 years or more.
  3. Major experience in the Pharmaceutical/CRO industry.

Salary Estimate:

The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
