Job Summary

ING is seeking an experienced High Yield DCM Specialist to join our Global Capital Markets Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and executing non-investment grade debt issues, working closely with relationship managers, sector bankers, and other product specialists.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with ING counterparts to identify new opportunities and educate them on the product and current market environment.
  • Prepare pitches for potential clients, including the identification of relevant comps and appropriate capital structures.
  • Provide general client coverage and marketing, selling ING's knowledge and capabilities in the market and the product.
  • Structure transactions, including identifying the right capital structure and establishing a covenant package.
  • Oversee and review the work of more junior team members and take responsibility for the preparation of all relevant transaction files.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced Leveraged Finance role within capital markets and/or origination-orientated role.
  • Ability to simultaneously originate, structure, and execute multiple situations.
  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • European language skills, in addition to fluent English, are desirable.
