Job Summary
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the development and implementation of our clinical audit program.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead Clinical Audit Program
Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical audit program that aligns with the Trust's quality priorities and goals.
Manage Clinical Audit TeamLead and support a team of clinical audit facilitators and quality improvement auditors, providing guidance and training as needed.
Develop and Monitor Audit PlansDevelop and monitor audit plans, ensuring that all aspects of the audit cycle are completed in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with Clinical TeamsWork closely with clinical teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these areas.
Contribute to Quality Improvement PrioritiesContribute to the achievement of the Trust's quality improvement priorities, as outlined in the Annual Quality Account.
Develop and Implement Quality Improvement InitiativesDevelop and implement quality improvement initiatives, working closely with clinical teams and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in Clinical Audit
Proven experience in clinical audit, including developing and implementing audit plans and leading clinical audit teams.
Knowledge of Clinical GovernanceStrong knowledge of clinical governance principles and practices, including quality improvement and patient safety.
Leadership and Management SkillsExcellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Communication and Interpersonal SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical teams and other stakeholders.
