Student Support Opportunity

We are seeking a primary teacher for special educational needs to provide one-to-one support to a student with learning difficulties in a Secondary School based in South East Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who require support with Phonics.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a student with learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis in Phonics.
  • Work closely with the teaching team to develop and implement tailor-made educational and health care plans (EHCPs) and individualized learning plans (ILPs).

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH/ASD/ADHD/MLD/PMLD.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with pupils.
