Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer II to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a Quality Engineer II, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of quality activities of suppliers or Gulfstream facilities through the application of system, product and process audits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the compliance of quality activities of suppliers or Gulfstream facilities through the application of system, product and process audits.
  2. Certify suppliers or assess Gulfstream facility quality systems, personnel, processes and equipment as required.
  3. Perform surveillance, source inspections and/or monitor the inspection system performance throughout all Gulfstream Operations, Materials and Repair Stations.
  4. Coordinate quality assurance program plans, monitor and modify audit schedules, and quality engineering requirements of Gulfstream suppliers or facilities.
  5. Provide liaison support regarding supplier or facility performance to established requirements.
  6. Coordinate documentation support for Regulatory Authorities Compliance.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Conduct product, system or process failure investigations, and provide technical assistance in resolution of quality problems.
  2. Verify required corrective action implementation for timeliness and effectiveness.
  3. Perform trend analysis of audit results to identify quality system deficiencies.
  4. Work with other departments as needed to meet quality compliance of processes.
Requirements
  1. Previous Quality experience relative/complying with Regulatory Standards.
  2. Understanding and ability to apply and communicate to others: blueprints/specifications; Federal Aviation Regulations; Quality Management Control System Requirements; knowledge of manufacturing/fabrication techniques and processes.
  3. Computer literate; capable of working within the various software applications utilized throughout the corporation.
  4. Lead Auditor as Quality Engineer or Quality Auditor preferred.
  5. EASA Part 66 license preferred.
