We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our clients' purchasing team in Middlewich, Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, optimising inventory management, and ensuring a steady supply chain that supports the company's operational goals. This role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies, monitoring market trends, and managing purchasing activities to ensure efficiency and supply reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the purchasing team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive cost savings.
  • Develop purchasing strategies to foster strong vendor partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and manage purchasing activities to ensure efficiency and supply reliability.

Requirements:
  • Certified in Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Salary Range: £45,500 - £50,200 per annum
