Job Title: Materials Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planning Manager to join our team at Omega. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in planning and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and commercial team to achieve exceptional efficiency and collaboration levels.
  • Work closely with Operations, Production, MRO, and Engineering to establish true capacity plans based on demands vs resource availability.
  • Enable the team to fully utilize the ERP system to its full functionality.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms and standardize across the team/group where possible.
  • Interact with Quality, Materials, Manufacturing, MRO, Shipping, and Assembly to ensure deliveries are met.
  • Analyze inventory levels for purchased and manufactured goods.
  • Monitor and manage material inventories, track progress of production, and review factors which affect schedules.
Requirements:
  • Degree level educated within Operations, Supply Chain, or equivalent level of experience.
  • Proven experience in leadership and examples of improving teams results and targets.
  • High level experience working in a planning management role (preferably in aerospace).
  • Strong MS Office and ERP System experience.
