Job Title: Support Worker

Age UK Tunbridge Wells is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling older clients to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with domestic tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with shopping, medical appointments, and social activities.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and health service workers to ensure high-quality care.
  • Report any concerns or issues related to the wellbeing of service users to the Service Co-ordinator.
  • Adhere to confidentiality principles and maintain a flexible approach to meet the needs of service users.
Requirements:
  • A caring and empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Good writing skills for documentation.
  • Smart mobile phone for work apps.
  • Access to a car and business insurance.
