Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Education Support Specialist to join our team in Enfield. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanence, ideal for an individual looking for a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting class teachers in the classroom, ensuring correct behavior and working effectively with small groups and 1:1 interventions.
  • Covering classes in the absence of a class teacher and planning and running own interventions with specific groups of children.
  • Requiring a sound knowledge of the curriculum and strategies to support SEN children.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree or HLTA qualification.
  • At least one year's experience within an education setting.
  • An understanding of various SEN needs, experience working 1:1, and a sound working knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • The ability to effectively build relationships with children quickly.
