We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Scrub Practitioner to join our team at the New Victoria Hospital's Day Surgery Unit. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during operations
- Prepare and maintain operating theatre equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the surgical team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing or a related healthcare field, with experience in theatre settings. You must also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
