Opportunity for Experienced Conveyancers

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our team in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to develop their skills and advance their career in an established and friendly multi-office practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Residential Property Transactions from instruction through to completion.
  2. Preparing Contract packs, investigating and reporting on title, and liaising with clients, agents, brokers and other lawyers are core aspects of this role.
  3. Strong compliance knowledge, including AML and SRA rules and regulations, is essential for success in this position.
  4. Dealing with Freehold/Leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages requires a high level of technical expertise.
  5. Post-completion formalities, including SDLT and Land Registry, require efficient administration skills.

Requirements include previous experience handling your own caseload of Residential property transactions with minimal supervision, qualifications as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or qualification by experience, with a minimum of 2 years PQE, and strong communication and organisational skills.
