Job Title: Content Writer

We are seeking a skilled Content Writer to join our team at CPRE London. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our website, social media, and newsletters.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to promoting the importance and benefits of the countryside and green spaces. As a Content Writer, you will play a key role in raising our profile, bringing our work to a wider audience, and attracting new supporters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a balanced range of new content, including current news, opinion pieces, and campaign features, for our communications
  • Use your creative flair to help drive our forward-looking content creation plans
  • Suggest and create content to encourage members, volunteers, donors, and the general public to engage with our activities
  • Liaise with the national CPRE communications and website team and our local charity staff and volunteers for support and guidance
Requirements
  • An interest in the countryside and environmental issues
  • An inclusive writing style to attract a diverse audience
  • Ability to write content with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have access to a computer and the internet at home and be confident using them

Working Pattern

Hours: 7-14 hours per week

Pattern: delivery can be flexible, but availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays would be beneficial

Location: Hybrid - with weekly office attendance on one of the above days

We provide out-of-pocket travel expenses should this be required
