Make a Difference as a Befriender Volunteer
SeeAbility is seeking compassionate and friendly individuals to join our team of Befriender Volunteers in Didcot. As a volunteer, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to provide companionship and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism who may also experience sight loss.
Your Role:- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities tailored to the interests of the people we support.
- Participate in a variety of enjoyable pursuits, such as arts and crafts, music, reading, board games, or simply sharing a cup of tea.
- Create a positive and supportive environment that fosters connection and well-being.
- A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to following our data protection and confidentiality procedures.
