Job Title: Practice Manager

Job Purpose:

As a Practice Manager at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our accountancy firm. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth office operations, coordinating team activities, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day practice operations and ensuring efficient workflows across departments
Supervising administrative staff and supporting client-facing teams to deliver outstanding service
Overseeing client onboarding and managing relationships to ensure client satisfaction
Ensuring all regulatory and internal compliance procedures are adhered to
Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of work from all departments
Coordinating with senior management and partners on strategic initiatives and business development
Implementing systems to improve operational efficiency and enhance client service delivery
Resolving client inquiries and providing proactive support to the team

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar operational role within professional services
Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage a busy practice
A proactive attitude with exceptional problem-solving skills
Experience in managing workflows and supporting teams to meet deadlines
Ability to work closely with partners and senior management on business development
Familiarity with accounting practice software (experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is beneficial)
A focus on delivering high-quality service to both clients and internal teams
