About Our Client

Michael Page (UK) is recruiting for a People Advisor on a 2-year fixed-term contract. This is a part-time role, and the ideal candidate can work anything from 10 hours per week.

Job Description

  • You will provide expert employment advice, leveraging your knowledge of Employee Relations (ER) to address complex casework and identify trends using people data.
  • You will proactively recommend actions to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders and the Policy Working Group to manage the policy review schedule, develop policy options, and support consultations with trade unions.
  • You will produce regular reports, analyse people data, and ensure policies comply with employment legislation, contributing to data-driven decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful People Advisor should have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work on a Monday and Wednesday as mandatory, and the rest of the hours can be made up over the course of the week.
  • Regular presence in the office on Wednesdays.
  • The opportunity to develop and enhance your HR skills and knowledge.
